Saab 900 TurboPhotography coming soon
The quirky Swedish icon. Aircraft-heritage ignition by the handbrake, turbocharged before turbo was cool, and a dashboard designed to avoid pilot error.
History
Born from Saab's aviation background, the 900 had its ignition between the seats (to prevent knee injuries), a curved windscreen from the Viggen fighter jet inspiration, and was one of the first turbocharged production cars. It became the thinking person's car — architects, professors, and doctors loved it.
