Collector's dream
Hand-built since 1968 with an ash wood frame. A Rover V8 in a car whose basic design dates to 1936. Waiting list was 10 years long.
History
The Plus 8 used Morgan's traditional ash wood frame and hand-beaten aluminum body, combined with a Rover V8 for a spectacular power-to-weight ratio. Each car took weeks to build by hand in Malvern, Worcestershire. The waiting list famously stretched to a decade. It was built for 36 years virtually unchanged.
