What makes it iconic

Raw British V8 muscle in a fiberglass body. No ABS, no traction control, no airbags — just a 340hp V8 in a 1060kg car. Terrifying and addictive.

History

Peter Wheeler's TVR built cars for enthusiasts who found Porsches too clinical. The Griffith used a Rover V8 in a tubular steel chassis with a fiberglass body, no electronic aids whatsoever. The result was one of the fastest 0-60 cars of the 1990s and one of the most dangerous.
