The factory performance variant takes a standard model and applies the manufacturer's motorsport division treatment. BMW M, Audi RS, and Mercedes AMG each developed their own philosophy for extracting more power, sharpening handling, and adding visual aggression. These cars represent the factory's own answer to the question of how fast a road car should be, built with warranty and quality standards intact.
