The first GT3 — Porsche's motorsport DNA distilled for the road. Launched a nameplate that became the benchmark for driver's cars.

History

When the 996 generation was criticized for going soft with water-cooling, the GT3 silenced the critics. Derived from the GT1 race program, it used the Mezger flat-six engine and proved the water-cooled 911 could be just as thrilling as its air-cooled ancestors.
