What makes it iconic

The most collectible 911 ever made. The ducktail spoiler and Carrera script defined the sports car silhouette for a generation.

History

Built as a homologation special for Group 4 racing, the RS (Rennsport) was stripped of luxuries to save weight. It introduced the iconic ducktail rear spoiler and side Carrera script. The lightweight Sport version weighed just 975kg.
